LEWIS A. LEVY, M.D., D.P.N.

Board-Certified Neurologist

Lewis A. Levy, M.D., D.P.N., is the founding member of Long Island Neurology Consultants (1977).  He is a board-certified neurologist by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and a member of the American Academy of Neurology.   Dr. Levy has a special interest in treatment of Tourette syndrome, migraines, dizziness and balance related problems, stroke, multiple sclerosis, movement disorders and neuromuscular disorders.

A lifetime resident of Long Island, Dr. Levy completed his internship at Nassau University Medical Center and his residency in neurology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He received his doctorate in medicine from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn, New York and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology at the University of Pennsylvania.  

In the past he was an assistant clinical professor of Neurology at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center and State University of New York at Stony Brook.  Dr. Levy has been recognized as a Top Doctor by Castle Connolly every year since 1999. He has also been named one of America’s Top Physician by the consumer’s Research Council of America and NY Top Docs.
